How can you help?

Good Morning,

You have been asking how you can help with our Dream Project, thank you so much for caring and asking, so here are a few things you can do.

First, please pray for everyone involved, there are so many and we all need your prayers. As this communication progresses, I will let you know special prayer needs but for today...
pray for safe travels for Anya. This will be her first flight and it is International.

Pray for those who are funding this project until we are able to raise resources so The Dream Project can support itself, Global Action, Gill-Tech Academy and Sheryl Fisk, and Chuck and I. We all believe this is a good way to use the resources we have been given but for each, it is a sacrifice, thank you for trusting this is right.

Please pray for wisdom for each of us as we plan and organize and put into action this Dream Project. That we recognize the true needs of the young women we are hoping to serve and that we are able to find ways to meet those needs. Mind, body and spirit all must be nurished to help the whole person. Where can we help?

And finally, if you are able to help support us financially in any way we do appreciate it. There is a fund set up at Global Action to support The Dream Project. The Launch of The Dream Project

I want to express my most sincere Thank You to all of you who contributed journals and shipping expenses for the mentoring program. Attached is the Hope Center Newsletter which talks about this program and mentions the contribution of the journals! That is your generosity!

Thank you so much. As you read about this program I want to share with you what is happening to further this cause. Ever since I went to the Hope Center last spring I have been working with several, many even, individuals to provide education in the cosmetology industry to these young women giving them an opportunity to earn a living in a safe and moral trade. Before I left for the Ukraine the owner of Gill-Tech Academy, Sheryl, my employer, told me she wanted to make a difference in the lives of these young women, she was not sure how but she knew she had an opportunity to provide education if only for one young woman. When I arrived at the Hope Center, Kremena and Tanya were working on the Mentoring program and they thought hair cutting and nails would be a possibility for training of a vocation to these women. This was the birth of The Dream Project and over the last 6 months we have been working on having a young woman come to the US for training at Gill-Tech Academy for Cosmetology and Instructor training to take back to the Hope Center for vocational training to these young women so in need of hope and dreams for their future.

Many of you know Anya from the Hope Center, she will be living with my husband and I for the next year gaining this skill set to educate at the Hope Center. There is much to be figured out yet but for this week, Anya is on her way and the Dream Project is launched. There will even be suggestions of opportunities for you to help support this program.

At Gill-Tech Academy we are always encouraging our students to Imagine their Future, can you imagine the future for these young women in the Ukraine! We are giving them Dreams for their future and real Hope for the possibility. Thank you all who have been here for us so far, we have a ways to go, but we will go there with your continued help.
